91.2 NIVH Hello Doon FM is a unique community radio station broadcasting from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, dedicated entirely to Divyangjan (persons with disabilities). Established in 2012 by the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD), it is run by visually-impaired radio jockeys under the motto “By Divyangjan, For Divyangjan, About Divyangjan.”
Broadcasting daily from 7 AM to 8 PM in Hindi, English, Garhwali, and Kumaoni, the station airs over 300 programmes annually — including inspirational storytelling, talk shows on government schemes for PwDs, children’s programmes like Aao Bachhon Sune Kahani, and interviews with prominent Dehradun personalities on Jazba-E-Doon. With an outreach potential of nearly 5.78 lakh listeners and an active base of around 60,000, it stands as a pioneering platform for accessibility, awareness, and inclusion in Uttarakhand’s community radio landscape.
